I am sure that these devices are on the market, but you have to look for yourself.
The transistor is a standard NPN. a 2N2222A will do.

Something like a ULN2001.... you should use a ULN2003 for your circuit.
Here it is for 1 relay.

The ULN2803 already has diodes for protection.
The only thing the originator needs to drive is a 5V relay, so no high voltage

Warp,
This board is for discussions of the NI digital I/O devices. You would be better off posting to the Multisim board.

Choosing relays is not as simple as one might think.
depends on: switch voltage, switch current, nominal voltage, nominal current, AC and/or DC, temperature, reaction time, number of contacts, electrical lifetime, mechanical lifetime, coil voltage, and so on.....

Try a search at Farnell
With a quick look I found G2R-1A-E-DC12 from Omron. See this for a complete list of 12VDC SPST relays

It looks like you haven't had much luck getting a reply on your message. Unfortunately I can't answer your question but I do have a couple of tips for you:

- I would suggest starting a new thread for new questions. New, unanswered posts will get more new traffic than an extra post on an existing thread.

- The expertise of most of the users in these forums is more in the area of NI products. If you haven't already done so, you may have better luck getting an answer to this question from an electronic component distributor.

Good luck with your application and sorry that I can't help you more!
