hi..
i m using PCI DIO-32HS card for digital audio data acquisition. well i have made a VI that will continuously acquire data and simultaneously write it on to the file . Using internal clock, and without connecting any data on i/o pins , if i run the vi then it acquires the scans and makes a file of it. in this case it contains all zeroes as nothing is connected to it. now to check the cable i fed the dpull (pin 38) with the 5 volt supply from pin 1 though a 12k resistance. as this will drive the dpull pin high so the output must become 1 for all the floating pins(all pins in my case as i have not connected anything to any other pin)but it is coming all zeroes. can anyone explain why??
what is the way to check if the cable is alright or not..

please help its urgent....

For future reference, please refrain from creating numerous threads on the same issue. National Instruments tries to answer every discussion forum thread, which can be a very time consuming process. When there are numerous threads about the same issue, it hurts our efficiency in delivering all of our users the best support possible.
