Hi Doug, We currently do not
offer any devices that are directly compatible with fiber channel. However, if you are able to convert the fiber
channel to copper while preserving the timing and integrity of the signals, you
could potentially wire that directly to either the <a href="http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/12067" target="_blank">1424</a> or <a href="http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/12066" target="_blank">1422</a> frame grabber
boards. If you do choose this route, I
would also suggest looking at the following KnowledgeBase document:
<a href="http://ae.natinst.com/operations/ae/public.nsf/web/searchinternal/e8030d8c9b12a2c186256aa9004c75fa?OpenDocument" target="_blank"> What are the Timing Diagram
Requirements for the IMAQ 1424 and 1422?</a> An even better option is if your camera follows the camera
link standard, you should be able to convert from camera link to fibre and then
back to camera link into one of the following <a href="http://www.ni.com/vision/hardware.htm#cameralink" target="_blank">boards</a>.
I hope this helps. Please let us know if
you would like further clarification or assistance regarding this issue.
Best regards,
Vu D
