Hello

I need yours help on this matter

I have installed a NI PCI 6503 board to my PC before installing the driver for the board the board receive the IRQ that I manually assigned in the BIOS (IRQ3)

My problem is that after installing the driver (NIDAQ) the board receive and IRQ 21

How can I change it back to IRQ 3?

Hi,

Have you tried changing it again through the BIOS after installing the driver?

Also, is there any specific reason why you are trying to change the IRQ level? Is the card not functioning properly.

Dear Abhinav

Thank you for your response.

Yes I tried to change it again after the installation the results are
The IRQ for the PCI slot is 3 but the IRQ of the board is 21

The reason that I want do change the IRQ is because I have a delay of about 100mS in every read for the board

This make it difficult for me to measure correctly

On a different PC, duplicate test station  with the same board on IRQ 9 all measures are correct

Thanks for the help

Hen,
What is the difference between the 2 computers? Are they using 2 different boards, BIOS, OS?
I find it very strange that the IRQ level is realted to your acquisition rate. Is the only difference betweent he 2 computers the IRQ level?
