Hi

I hope someone will be able to help me...

I am a french trainee student, and i'd like to test the write and receive functions which are in the examples of DAQmx. So i used MAX to simulate my 6509 card that i don't still have, and wrote 0xFF (transformed in uInt8 as it wants) in port 1, and then i read it.
I guess it's normal that when i pass an output port into an input port, i lose the informations. But do you have a way to allow me with MAX to test it ?

Cause I tried to, and when i simulate my port 1 (loadtask, and starttask) as an output and try to read it, it says that this port is already used...

Thank you, and i hope my english is "understoodable"!!

Hi Nanor,

As i understand, you would use the same port for read and write, it's true ?
This functionnality are not possible, for this board (NI-6509) each port (8 bit) are in write or read direction.

Let me know if you have other question, (in french if you prefere)
Regards,
