Hello everyone, I was just wanting to post before I ordered a ttl to relay board to make sure it will work with the USB-6008. I have tried to build something from scratch but have just found myself pulling out what little hair I have left :smileyhappy: Anyway, what do you guys think? TTL Relay Board

I did not see any spec on how much current the TTL inputs draw. You may want to contact the manufacturer to find out and make sure that is below what the output currrent rating is on the 6008 (check the manual for specs).

It's only $33. Not a bad deal for a packaged solution, IMO.

Not bad at all. Last time I did something like this, the cost of just the pwb was a lot more.

Cool, let us know it goes. Nice find for a relay board, he's got some other neat and value priced goodies too (worthy of bookmarking).
What are you planning to switch with the relays?

What's the cost? There looks to be a single IC there. It could just be a driver like this. If you could order one with the understanding that you could return it if it doesn't work, go for it.

I emailed the guy that makes them and he checked out the USB-6008, said there shouldnt be any problems at all. I will be ordering a few tomorrow and will post back on how they turn out. Here is his reply :Jason - Thanks for your inquiry. I looked at the link you sent and my board will work just fine with it. It looks like from the specifications that you can set the outputs to sinking or sourcing. My board will require sourcing (TTL high). Let me know if you have any more questions... Later! Going to control a bank of large solenoid valves that will control the flow of water through a series of tanks. 120v 1.5a valves, so this should work great. Next on my list is to find a way to input a ph sensor, conductivity sensor, temp sensor, water level sensor "probably use a pressure sensor for this"
