Using an NIPXI-6508 in a PXI chassis. The traditional DAQ drivers appear to be unsetting the other channels, then setting the channel of interest. Would like to set the channel and leave it set, as we are programming the next channel. Does NIPXI-6508 use NIDAQmx?

Hi Phuong,

How are you configuring your channels with Traditional DAQ? Can you give us more details on what is the behavior you are seeing? The PXI-6508 does support NI-DAQmx drivers. Please refer to the NI-DAQ Driver Support: PCI/PXI Devices to verify what specific version is supported in your Operating System. I hope this is helpful,

Originally, we were using traditional DAQ, but discovered that the card is supported in DAQmx with a call to NI apps. Therefore, we are now communicating with the card using DAQmx and it works well.
