Discussion:
How can I achieve 1M Hz DO with my M series board?

Hi all,

I'm new to LV, and I'm trying the example "correlated digital output with analog output" (see attachment). But when I set the output rate as 300k Hz, the actual rate I measured by the scope is 37k Hz. And if I set the rate as 500k Hz, the error "Onboard device memory underflow" appeared. I'm using PCIe-6251 board, under Windows XP OS, and the specifiacation tells that the analog input can go as fast as 1M Hz, and the DO can go 10M Hz. So how can I achieve 1M Hz by this example? Or is there other example I can achieve that? Since both of the counters are being used, I think the only way I can config the DO is to correlated it with AO/AI. Thank you for any help.

Best wishes
Bo

Hi Bo

I have been trying to reproduce your error and unfortunatly have been unsucsessfull so far. Would you please post up a couple of screen shots of both the error message and of you configuration (eg. the front panel) just so that I can confirm that I have things the same as you.

best regards
