Hi,
I have no LabView experience and have inherited a project. I simply want to record the time that a digital input is true and have the facility to reset the time back to zero for the next run. I found a stop watch VI but cannot modify it so that it:

will run when the signal is true
stop when the signal is false
Has a reset function to reset the accumulated time to zero

Thanks

Hi,

I have written an example VI that should
contain the functionality that you require.
I understand that you have little or no experience with LabVIEW, so
please don?t hesitate to contact me if anything is unclear in the code.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,Ian

Hi,

Sorry about that. This VI should run on your system.
