error -10401 (unknown device) when driving daqpad 6508 after power down

Hi,
 
I'm currently using a DAQPAD 6508 to do some IO. This is working OK exept for one thing:
When the PC which is using the DAQPAD is rebooted, a "-10401" error occurs (unknown device) !!! This error occurs in the DIO Port
 
This persist until I open Measurement explorer and open the Test Panel and do some random settings. When I then run the application again, everything works...
 
Remark that the DAQPAD 6508 is driven though USB.
Attached you'll find the vi that I use to drive this device...

I was just describing that this error occurs in the DIO Port Config.vi before my explorer did some strange things and submitted my post...
