I have a computer with standard 33MHz PCI slots. They support 5V cards
only. Will the PCI-6221 work - is it a 5V or 3.3V or universal card ?
I couldn't find any info on this in the manual.

Thanks,

Hello,
You should browse the NI 622x specifications document. It indicates that power is drawn from the 3.3 bus, except for the NI-6221 (37 pins) that doesn't use 3.3V from the bus.

It seems that power is drawn from 3.3, 5, & 12V. It looks like these are standard voltages supplied by the PCI bus.
Seems like the 6221 needs all 3 voltages ?
I guess my classification of PCI cards : 5V, 3.3V, or universal - is wrong ?
How can 33MHz PCI cards be properly classified, & does each type have a different mechanical identation of the pinouts ?
